For over 14 years Liverpool based Progress Sports have been helping youngsters get started on the path to higher education or employment in the field of sport. Be it PE teacher, sports coach, physiotherapist or anything sport related, we have the courses and apprenticeship opportunities you need to get going.
We offer pay, qualifications, and hands-on work experience to all of our learners. Our apprenticeship courses offer a direct route into the field of PE teaching amongst others as you earn and learn with up to £115 being paid to you each week.

Earn while you learn
During the course your tutor will complete a DBS/CRB check and will organise an interview with the apprenticeship team. They will advise you on how they will support you in gaining an apprenticeship place.
Inspired Sports Events
Inspired Sports are a community sports coaching organisation that employ over 45 coaches and trainee coaches to work in their local community to deliver sport.
Inspired Sports currently run several Soccer Schools and after school clubs in the North West and engage with over 5,000 children every week.

Jason started in the Prescot Centre and gained a BTEC Level 2 in Sport & Active Leisure. Alongside this Jason gained work experience with Inspired Sports which supported his apprenticeship application.
Jason then progressed to complete both a Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeship achieving the following qualifications:
NVQ Activity Leadership Level 2
NVQ Support Teaching and Learning in School Sport Level 3
NVQ Exercise and Fitness Level 2
