Yesterday we spent the day chatting to students about Sports Apprenticeships and our BTEC Level 2 & Level 3 courses at a Careers Convention in the Atrium of Knowsley Park School.

The annual careers convention provides good opportunities for years 9, 10 and 11 students to speak to a wide variety of employers and training providers about various career paths and further education. Progress Sports are invited every year, so we took two ex-pupils of Knowsley Park School who are now apprentices with Progress Sports, to chat to some of the students about their own experiences and answer any questions.

We also spoke to many of the parents who came along to chat about the Sport Diplomas available. The Level 3 Football Studies course was a popular topic amongst the students who were interested in starting their career in the football industry.
